These outdoor curtains are made from a drop cloth and hung on an industrial pipe curtain rod. Here is her easy tutorial for the outdoor curtains and pipe curtain rod. Caitlin also shows how she the nautical tie backs from rope. I love the look of cabanas. Figure out how high you want your curtain rod to be and then mark the position on your wall or column in my case using a measuring tape and a pencil.
I like to hang my outdoor curtains high and wide, so I chose to hang my pipe rod at the top, center part of my columns, which is 9-ft. To determine the length of your pipe rod, use a measuring tape to measure the span of your space. My space is in. If you need a custom-sized pipe cut say in. Odds are your pipe pieces are going to be a little gross! I soaked my smaller pieces floor flanges, tee, nipple in some hot soapy water for a few minutes before rinsing and drying them off.
Then I sprayed some Goo Gone onto a rag to clean the stickers and various gunk off my larger pipe pieces. I wiped them down with soap and water and dried them off.Chimney Cleaning 101 - How to Clean Your Chimney DIY

Grab your working gloves and screw the nipple piece into the top of the tee piece. Screw a floor flange onto the end of the nipple piece. This will act as the center support of your curtain rod. Note: The threads on the pipe can be kind of sharp. I really should have been wearing gloves when I did this.
Fortunately, I managed not to cut myself, but I seriously recommend you wear gloves when you do this. Keep your working gloves on so you can screw one piece of pipe into one side of the dry tee piece.Screws with coarse threads and a pointed end for use in sheet metal sometimes also used in plastic, fiberglass, or wood.

Alternative Berlin organises tours that take you off the beaten track and show you the city through the eyes of a local. The free walking tour starts at 11:00 and 13:00 daily, and lasts 3 hours. The meeting point is Alexanderplatz, next to the TV Tower. We are extremely happy with the Express Iceland package that Nordic Visitor prepared for us. We did find that we had to keep a tight schedule in order to visit all of the recommended destinations in the day-to-day itineraries, but that is probably the nature of the express tour.
That said, Solveig did a great job preparing our itinerary (as well as marking our map), and all of the recommended destinations we visited were absolutely wonderful. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay in Iceland longer.
We can't wait to visit again, and we will surely be using Nordic Visitor again. Additionally, we will happily recommend Nordic Visitor to our family, friends, and coworkers who are interested in visiting Iceland.
The accommodations were excellent and so nice not to have to look for a hotel. The food for breakfast was such a variety and very good. The "self-driving tour was very well planned out for us.
The routes which were planned for us were very scenic and gave us a beautiful picture of Norway. We appreciated the added information in our booklet, ferry schedule, and individual maps of larger cities.
Breakfasts at all hotels excellent. Very good variety and quantity at suitable times. Rooms were very clean and of a good size.
Customer service was great. We loved the train travel. Scenery magnificent - waterfalls, mountains, snow, fjords, valleys, Flam railway. Comfort class worth the extra cost. A once in a lifetime trip for us. We will treasure our memories (and photos). Thanks for helping us to achieve a wonderful holiday. I cannot rate this tour highly enough. Nordic Visitor was recommended to me by my travel agent (a personal friend) who had received very good reports from another client.
I will most certainly advise her that it more than lived up to my expectations. Please pass on my thanks to Sara. If it had been possible, I would have liked to do that myself while in Norway.
Our travel agent was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She helped us book a meal on our cruise in advance, she sent us our travel vouchers in email and had them ready for us at our first hotel, she was constantly updating us as things were booked and finalized. We had a wonderful experience largely in part due to having accommodations and trains booked for us in advance. It was a great relief not having to worry about that. Line was an excellent guide.
She was kind and thoughtful. Line was also well organized regarding tickets and getting us where we needed to be. The small group (9 of us) was perfect and made the trip more enjoyable than being in a herd of people. I loved everything about the trip. We did the South Iceland at Leisure tour and the planning attention to detail that Erla put together for our trip made for a great experience.
Everything exceeded our expectations, including the gentleman that picked us up at the airport. Nordic Visitor provided my family with an unbelievable first trip to Iceland. All of the communication with our travel advisor, Helga, beforehand was impeccable and so thorough. Every step of our journey was so well thought out and perfectly timed.Minge Xie, with the 2017 NISS Postdoc Achievement Award.

We stayed in the best hotels around the Island. We enjoyed our SUV with all-wheel drive. We visited all of the sights that we wanted to see. They provide you with a loaner cellphone so that you can contact them at any point on your trip to get their help.
And we never used it. We had a detailed map with our route outlined, a gps that we used all the time, and other literature on the sights to see. We drove 2,000 miles over 17 days and, other than the roads, enjoyed every mile and every change of scenery. We plan to return to Iceland in winter to see the Northern Lights and we will use Nordic Visitor to plan our visit. Best way to enjoy the amazing scenery of Iceland. Nordic Visitor's self-guided tour provides the car, hotels and useful tips.
They do everything to make the journey trouble free, easy and convenient. The hotel chosen were interesting and the tips on what to see were outstanding. Anita and Alexandra planned a perfect itinerary for us and answered all our questions. Everything went off perfectly from the gentleman who first met us upon our arrival at the airport, to the car rental, to the hospitality we received at each of the hotels.
The scenery (mountains, glaciers, geysers, rainbows, etc) was beautiful, the different hotels were excellent (we enjoyed the farm the best) and the included breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We saw many animals(whales, reindeer, seals, birds, etc. We have many fond memories from our time there and the 1,500 pictures we took. We are very pleased to highly recommend Nordic Visitor to all who want an unforgettable vacation in Iceland. All staff we dealt with in Norway were excellent and friendly.
We had a very enjoyable vacation. The 'pack' sent to us prior to the holiday had some very useful additional information which helped us decide on extra sites we wanted to see.Keurig mini sams club
All the vouchers were easily understandable and the map was very useful (although the sat-nav helped too. Hilmar was a great partner and guide through our time there.
The accommodations and the personal recommendations (including homemade ice cream and what football match to attend). Sjofn did a great job. I know we didn't give her a lot of lead time and she was able to give us great accommodations. All papers were in order. She let us know about the road problems. For us, the Itinerary book was very nice but didn't have to be such high quality. We had a wonderful time in Iceland. All of the guesthouses that we stayed at were amazing (most notably Guesthouse Nonni, Hrifunes Guesthouse, and Gest-Inn Guesthouse).Lg v50 camera apk
Everything was perfectly planned and laid out for us, with the independence to choose which activities we wanted to do each day. Helga was a wonderful correspondent and went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was stress-free.
She answered all of our many questions and made us feel extremely prepared.
All the guest houses were unique and we enjoyed each for different reasons. Having things marked on the map was helpful, as well as the GPS in the car.
